1. Unicorns
are mythical creatures. They look like horse or a goat with a horn on its
forehead. But it is also compared with existed animals during medieval times.
2. Unicorns
are referred in Greek literature as Indian Wild Ass or Indian Rhinoceros. It
has the body of horse with purple head and blue eyes. Ctesias, a Greek historian wrote about Unicorns
in his writing in 4th Century.

fought with Elephants and killed them using their horn.

had a power of purifying the poisoned water with their magical horns for other
animals to drink.
5. Unicorn’s
horn is called Alicorn which was taken from Wild Ox as mentioned in Bible, is
safely preserved in the cabinet of curiosities in sixteenth century.

symbolizes peace, beauty, harmony and purity. Full of positivity and great good
wishes.
7. Unicorns
are compared with Narwhal. Narwhal is a sea animal which also looks like
unicorn and a horn on it forehead.
8. In
Ancient days they say Unicorns are trapped by woman with charm and taken to the
King’s palace. There are series of seven tapestries artifact kept in Museum of
Art, New York. Each Tapestry narrates how the unicorn was trapped then killed
and it resurrect.
9. In
China, Japan, and Korea the Qilin beast is called as Chinese Unicorn. But Qilin
don’t have horn like unicorn but it symbolizes good luck and prosperity.
10. Unicorns
and Rainbows are connected to each other. Both spreads love and happiness. It
is complete an imagination that Unicorn shoots rainbow from its horn.
